Our Mission
Bahaar Foundation, founded in 2010, is committed to empowering communities in Afghanistan by providing clean water, education, and support to those in need. Focusing primarily on Herat, we build wells, rebuild schools, and help widows keep their children safe and in school.
Through annual trips, we ensure that our projects have a direct and lasting impact, fostering stability and opportunity for a brighter future.
Herat Earthquake Relief: A Lifeline for Families in Crisis
In response to the devastating earthquakes that struck Herat, Afghanistan, in October 2023—leaving 2,445 dead and over 9,000 injured—Bahaar Foundation launched an urgent GoFundMe campaign to provide immediate aid. Thanks to the generosity of over 70 donors, we raised $16,035 to deliver emergency relief packages, rebuild homes, and support displaced families facing the harsh winter. Every dollar raised has been carefully allocated and documented to ensure transparency, bringing hope and stability to those affected by this tragedy.

Clean Water
We build wells in underserved communities, providing reliable access to clean and safe drinking water. Our efforts have brought life-changing resources to hundreds of families in Herat.
Education Support
We rebuild schools and improve infrastructure to create safe, nurturing learning environments for children. Our work ensures that Afghan youth have the tools they need to succeed.
Widow Assistance
We support widows with children by giving them the means to keep their families safe and in school. Through financial aid and resources, we help them build a more secure future.
